The soft, cloud-like veining is the stone's own pattern, so every column is one of a kind. Subtle variation in veining and color is the mark of genuine stone.

How high should I mount it?

As a general rule, mount the center about 60–66″ from the floor (roughly eye level). As a bedside reading light, mount a little lower (50–60″). In a hallway, space sconces 8–10 ft apart; beside a mirror, set a pair about 28–30″ apart.

How is it installed — do I need an electrician?

The sconce is hardwired to a wall electrical box (no plug or visible cord). We recommend installation by a qualified electrician for a safe, secure mount. Always switch off power at the breaker and confirm the wires are dead before any work.

What bulb does it use?

It uses a GU10 bulb (max 40W) and is designed for a warm 3000K glow that brings out the stone's natural depth.

What finishes and sizes are available?

The metal arm and backplate come in gold, brushed nickel, or matte black, each paired with a white alabaster column. The sconce measures W 7.5″ × H 31.5″ (19 × 80 cm).
