That is not a shortcut, it is the whole behaviour: heat leaves upward instead of building around the lamp, and a column of light escapes to wash the ceiling above the fixture. Closed shades push everything sideways and down. This one lights up, out, and back — three directions from one small lamp.

Beside a bed, either side of a mirror, down a hallway, or up a stair wall. Its footprint is shallow enough to clear a walkway, and because the light is diffuse rather than directional it does not throw the hard downward shadows that an overhead fixture puts on a face — which is exactly why a pair beside a mirror beats one light above it.

Specifications

Power

Max 40W

Voltage

AC 110–240V

Control

Wall switch Dimmable with dimmable bulbs on a compatible dimmer.

Mounting

Wall — hardwired Professional installation recommended.

Environment

Indoor only · IP20

Preparation time

5–10 days Made to order and inspected before dispatch.

W 4.3″ × H 11.8″

11 × 30 cm

Best for

Narrow hallway · stair wall · beside a bed · small powder room

Wall

Anything from 2 ft wide

W 4.3″ × H 22.8″

11 × 58 cm

W 10.2″ × H 11.8″

26 × 30 cm

Where light goes

Up, out, and back off the plate Sideways and down only

Good to Know

Which bulb should I use?

A clear filament candle bulb, E12, 2700K warm white.
