Aveline Alabaster Petal Chandelier, Each plate is cut to a pointed oval and set slightly overlapping its neighbour, in two staggered rows around a brass ring. The overlap is doing two things. It hides the lamps completely from below, and it makes the light uneven in a useful way — where two plates cross, the stone is twice as thick and glows darker, so the fixture reads as a pattern of light and shade instead of a flat white ring.

Design & Materials
Over a round dining table, in an entryway, or in a living room that needs one warm object. Its light is ambient rather than task — bright enough to eat by, not bright enough to read fine print under. Pair it with a lamp if the room has to do both.
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.

Good to Know
How do I know it's real stone and not resin?
Three checks you can do yourself. Weight — stone is noticeably heavier than resin. Temperature — stone feels cool and stays cool; resin warms to your hand in seconds. Veining — real veining differs on every plate and runs through the material, so it looks different lit and unlit. Printed veining repeats and looks the same either way.
Does alabaster really glow?
Yes — that is the reason to choose it. The stone is translucent, so light travels through it and the whole shade lights up, veining included. Most marble is opaque and does not do this.
Will mine look like the photographs?
The shape will. The stone won't — every plate has its own veining, and with dozens on one fixture you can see that from across the room. It is the point of real stone, not a fault.
Is it bright enough?
For ambient light over a table, yes. For reading, add a lamp. Alabaster gives soft light by nature — and a larger size gives more presence, not more brightness.
How do I clean it?
A soft dry cloth. Nothing damp, ever. Alabaster is porous — water, sprays and polish soak in and leave marks that don't come out. Twice a year is plenty.
