Design & Materials
The idea came from the tack room, where every bridle hangs from a single brass hook and every strap is finished with one neat line of stitching. We gave the sconce the same honesty: a band of leather wraps the brass and closes with a visible seam, a round backplate carries it like a hook on the wall, and a linen shade softens the light into a warm, even glow.
It is a leather wall sconce that feels tailored rather than trendy, at home in a modern traditional or transitional home. The 1-light is a slim bedside wall sconce and a natural fit along a hallway or stairwell; the 2-light spreads two shades along a stitched leather bar to flank a mirror, a fireplace or a console. Choose brown leather for warmth or black for a sharper outline.
