Design & Materials
Featuring a double-headed parallel column design, its slender and upright silhouette provides ample vertical light. Each luminous column is meticulously layered and stacked from natural alabaster. The two luminous columns are lightly suspended, exuding a refined industrial charm that perfectly complements its sculptural form. Is the shade real alabaster?
Yes — the shade is cut from genuine natural alabaster stone, never resin or acrylic. Because it's real stone, each shade has its own veining and slight color variation. That means yours won't look exactly like the photos — and that's the point. It's the mark of a real, one-of-a-kind piece, not a defect.
Is it plug-in or hardwired?
It's hardwired — it mounts to a standard wall junction box, with no plug or cord showing. If you're comfortable with basic wiring it's straightforward; otherwise any electrician can install it in minutes. Always turn off the power at the breaker first.
Do I need to buy a bulb? Can I dim it?
No bulb needed — the LED is built in, at a warm 3000K, so there's nothing to buy, fit, or ever replace. It's turned on and off with a push-button switch and is not dimmable. (Please contact us if you require a dimmable version.)
How bright is it, and will it glare?
It gives a soft, ambient glow rather than a bright task light. The light spreads through the stone instead of shining straight out, so there's no harsh spot to catch your eye — it's easy to sit near and look at directly, ideal for a bedside, hallway, or living room.
What height should I mount it at?
As a guide, center it about 48–52″ above the floor at a bedside, 60–66″ in a hallway, or around eye level beside a mirror. If you're mounting two, keep both at the same height and evenly spaced.
