Design & Materials
Unlike a flush wall sconce that sits tight against the wall, the Halden holds its shade out on a sweeping arm, so the crystal dome hangs freely like a mini pendant light. You get the soft, focused glow of a pendant in places where a ceiling fixture won't work, such as beside a vanity mirror, above a nightstand, or along a narrow hallway. The slim profile keeps the look open and light, while the arch adds a graceful line to a plain wall.
The dome is made of thick, clear crystal with heavy, rounded walls. When the bulb is on, the crystal refracts its glow and casts soft ripples onto the wall behind it, adding depth and movement to paint, plaster, or tile. When it is off, the clear shade still catches daylight and reads as a polished accent. Measuring 7.1" wide and 16.1" tall (18 cm x 41 cm), the Halden is sized for standard vanity mirrors, bedside walls, and entryways.

Is the shade real crystal or glass?
The shade is a thick, solid clear crystal dome. Crystal has higher clarity and refracts light more strongly than standard glass, which is what creates the rippled light pattern on the wall.
What is the fixture made of?
The arched arm, backplate, and socket cover are brass, finished in Gold, Black, or Nickel. The cord is a black fabric-wrapped cord that matches all three finishes.
What bulb should I use?
The sconce takes one E12 (US candelabra) or E14 bulb, up to 40W, and bulbs are not included. For the best effect through the crystal, we recommend a clear warm white LED bulb at 2700K–3000K.
Is the Halden sconce dimmable?
No. It is controlled by a push-button on/off switch and is not designed to be used with a dimmer.
Can I make the light softer if it isn't dimmable?
Yes. Choose a lower-lumen bulb (around 200–300 lumens) in a warm 2700K for a gentle, relaxing glow. This is the easiest way to set the brightness, since the fixture uses an on/off switch only.
