What is the linear bar actually made of?

The bar is hand-carved from natural alabaster — a real translucent stone, not resin, acrylic, or glass. The cloud-like marbling across the linear alabaster pendant is the stone's own veining, so every bar is one of a kind. Slight variation from piece to piece is natural and is the mark of genuine stone.

What are the dimensions?

How high should I hang it over a table or island?

As a general rule, hang the bottom of the bar about 30–36″ above the tabletop or countertop on a standard 8 ft ceiling. Add roughly 3″ per extra foot of ceiling height. Center the pendant over the surface and align its length with the table for the most balanced warm glow.

How is it installed — do I need an electrician?

This linear suspension light is hardwired to a ceiling electrical box (no plug or visible cord). Because it mounts from two points, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician for a level, secure fit. Always switch off power at the breaker and confirm the wires are dead before any work.
