And once you have that freedom, it opens up things you would not otherwise attempt. Hang three at different lengths over an island so they cascade rather than line up. Sweep two across a stairwell where there is only one box. Run nine over a long table in a loose, garlanded arc — the version people photograph, and the one that looks nothing like a light bought from a catalogue. Because the spheres stack directly on one another, light travels through the whole column and leaves it from every side. You never see a bulb, from any angle — which matters when the fixture hangs at eye level over a table. What you see is a stack of stone that has been switched on.
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.

Yes — that is what this fixture is for. Choose Model B: the chain runs across the ceiling to a second hook, then drops. No rewiring.
Is it real stone?
Yes — natural alabaster, not resin or glass. Every sphere has its own veining, so no two in a column will match.
Can you see the bulb?
No. The spheres stack directly on each other, so light leaves the whole column. No visible source from any angle.
How many spheres should I choose?
2 for a bedside or powder room. 3 for an island or dining table. 4 where the ceiling is 10 ft or more.
Do I need a bulb?
