Design & Materials
Its name comes from the rivière, the classic necklace of stones set one after another in a single flowing line. We imagined that necklace drawn in light: smooth, pillow-shaped pieces of alabaster, each lit from within, spaced by fine brass collars and hung from a small round wall plate.
Switch it on and the veining inside every stone rises like clouds behind frosted glass. As a modern alabaster wall light beside a bathroom vanity mirror, above a nightstand or along a staircase wall, it brings a gentle, vertical glow to the rooms you live in most.
