Design & Materials
The idea came from a small mountain temple at dusk, where a single bell hangs inside a rough timber frame, weathered by years of rain and wind. We kept that pairing of something rough and something luminous: the frame is sand-cast, so its surface keeps the grain of the mould, and inside it stands a smooth dome of natural alabaster lit from within by integrated LED.
At 10″ wide and 11″ tall, it is a modern alabaster table lamp for a nightstand, an entry console, a side table or a desk. The dark frame and warm stone suit Japandi, wabi-sabi and organic modern rooms, and bring warmth to a clean, minimal space.
