Good to Know
Is the shade made of real alabaster?
Yes. Every Stela shade is natural white alabaster stone, not glass, resin or plastic. Its veining shows most clearly when the light is on.
Will my Stela look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not identical. Because alabaster is natural stone, each shade has its own veining and slight colour variation. This is a natural feature of real stone, not a defect.
What is the frame made of?
The frame is brass, finished in gold, black or nickel.
Can I use the Stela in a bathroom?
No. The Stela is rated IP20 for indoor, dry rooms only. It suits bedrooms, hallways, stairways, living rooms and dining rooms, but should not be installed in bathrooms or other damp areas.
Is it dimmable?
No. The Stela turns on and off with a push-button switch and is not dimmable. Its alabaster shade already softens the light into a warm, gentle glow.
