Is the shade real alabaster?
Yes — each twisted shade is cut and hand-ground from genuine natural alabaster stone, never resin or acrylic. Because it's real stone, every shade has its own veining and slight color variation. That means yours won't look exactly like the photos — and that's the point. It's the mark of a real, one-of-a-kind piece, not a defect.
Is it plug-in or hardwired?
It's hardwired — it mounts to a standard wall junction box, with no plug or cord showing. If you're comfortable with basic wiring it's straightforward; otherwise any electrician can install it in minutes. Always turn off the power at the breaker first.
What bulb does it take? Can I dim it?
It takes a standard G9 bulb (Max 40W) — you can fit an LED or a vintage Edison bulb to suit your look. For the warmest glow through the stone, we suggest a warm-white bulb around 2700–3000K. (Please purchase dimmable bulbs if dimming functionality is required.)
How bright is it, and will it glare?
It gives a soft, ambient glow rather than a bright task light. The light spreads through the stone instead of shining straight out, so there's no harsh spot to catch your eye — it's easy to sit near and look at directly, ideal for a bedroom, hallway, or reading nook.
What's the difference between 1-head and 2-head?
Both use the same twisted alabaster shade. The 1-head is a single soft accent, easy to place anywhere; the 2-head stacks two shades on one backplate for more glow and a taller, stronger presence — better on a larger wall or in a living room.
